Walgreens Boots Alliance ("WBA") welcomes you to WBA's Intranet (the "Intranet"). Please understand that your use of the Intranet is subject to all of the corporate policies of WBA and its subsidiaries and affiliates which you can find on the policies page. Please know that you are responsible for ensuring that you comply with all of these corporate policies. In addition, we have set out some specific terms for the use of the Intranet and for your access and use of some sensitive information that falls under data protection laws.
2. General Use of the Intranet
It is important that you understand that you must not abuse access to the Intranet for personal or improper purposes.
In light of that, you must never use the Intranet to send or intentionally receive, retrieve or store:
- information that is abusive, harassing, sexually explicit, discriminatory or offensive;
- information that involves an increased virus dissemination risk;
- copyrighted materials, trade secrets or similar materials without proper authority or infringing the rights of third parties; or
- messages or files for any illegal or unethical purpose, or for any purpose that violates any applicable WBA policies or may lead to liability or cause harm to WBA or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates.
Further, please understand that you must safeguard and, if applicable, keep confidential WBA and its subsidiaries' and affiliates' proprietary information, trade secrets, confidential information, business intelligence, and intellectual property (including copyrights, trademarks and patents) which you may be able to access via the Intranet.
As such, it is important for you to understand that all information, contact details, documents, files, records, and reports acquired are owned by WBA or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates. You can access and use any of the information, contact details, documents, files, records, and reports but only for the purpose of performing your duties of employment.

In light of the above and in order to protect you as well as all of your colleagues, please understand that your usage of WBA's employee directory must strictly adhere with all applicable data protection laws. This means that you must not share, distribute, use, publish, and/or disseminate any part of the personal information of your colleagues that is contained in the directory to any other party outside of our organization without your colleagues' explicit consent.
In order to ensure your proper use of the Intranet, you must be aware that your Intranet use will be subject to monitoring in compliance with lawful best practice. Evidence of abuse will result in disciplinary action, including dismissal. As such, please understand that WBA cannot guarantee the confidentiality of your usage of the Intranet.
